Ockham’s Razor is an aerial theatre company combining circus and visual theatre formed in 2004. The artists met while studying at Circomedia, Academy of Circus Arts and Physical Performance in Bristol. In spring 2006,Turtle Key Arts became their producers.
Ockham’s Razor was the first British company to be supported by Jeunes Talents Cirque. In 2006 they premiered their first full evening programme at the London International Mime Festival, to sell out audiences.
Since then they have performed in theatres and festivals throughout the UK and in Belgium, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands and Spain and have established a reputation for innovative, arresting, accessible performances.
They specialised in creating physical theatre on original pieces of aerial equipment and create stories from the vulnerability, trust and reliance that exist between people in the air.
