Sanctuaire Sauvage

 

Laureates 2018-2019

 

Sanctuaire Sauvage is a performing arts project that uses circus artists’ bodies and a musician to create an acoustic environment.

The project is created around the state of blindness and is inspired by lives and stories of blind people, mainly the way sight loss opens up new possibilities to experiment the world.

The idea is to offer another approach of performing arts by discarding sight and developing other way of receiving and feeling circus. Offering the audience, made of seeing and blind people, a sensatory experience that takes them elsewhere by broadening their perception, in order to create another reality.
