Founded in 1999 by Sébastien Bruas and Cécile Mont-Reynaud, compagnie Lunatic weaves together circus, dance, live music, architecture and art to create poetic shows. These creations tour mainly outdoors, inviting the audience to share intimate breathing and emotion. Lunatic occupies theaters, public spaces, circus tents, nature and gardens, boats, monuments… Since 2002, Cécile Mont-Reynaud develops an original rig called “cordes fileuses” (spinner or weaver’s ropes), made of multiple fine ropes, almost strings.
